Steel Framework for Thailand 50MW Biomass Energy Facility

Jidian Construction Materials Co., Ltd. supplied the steel structure framework for a 50MW biomass energy facility in Thailand. The 8,100-ton steel package includes fuel storage bunker structures, boiler house frameworks designed for thermal loads up to 450°C at the furnace zone, and emissions control equipment supports including SCR catalyst housing platforms and baghouse filter support frames.

Our engineering team optimized the structural design for the challenging tropical environment with humidity levels exceeding 85% and biomass dust corrosion concerns. The boiler house structure incorporates refractory anchor stud welding on primary members adjacent to high-temperature zones. Exported from our Xiamen, Fujian, China facility, the project achieved commercial operation 3 months ahead of the PPA deadline, enabling the client to capture additional feed-in tariff revenue.

Key Data: 8,100 tons steel | 50MW biomass capacity | 450°C thermal design | 85%+ humidity environment | Refractory anchor studs | 3 months ahead of PPA deadline
