Jidian Construction Materials Co., Ltd. provided the complete steel structure package for an international commercial shopping mall development spanning 78,000 square meters in Doha, Qatar. The project featured 62-meter long-span steel trusses enabling open retail concourses and a dramatic central atrium with a cable-supported glass skylight. The roof system integrates rooftop HVAC equipment platforms and solar reflective coating infrastructure designed for the extreme Gulf climate.

All 6,800 structural members were pre-engineered and labeled with QR-coded tracking for assembly sequence management. The truss connections utilized field-welded splices with ultrasonic testing on 100% of critical welds per EN ISO 17640. The project was delivered in 12 months from foundation to structural topping-out, supporting the client's aggressive retail opening schedule ahead of the peak shopping season. The mall's steel structure was designed to accommodate future vertical expansion of two additional floors.
